The firing practice took place at the Ashuluk inter-branch firing range in the Astrakhan Region. The S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems were striking targets simulating enemy rockets and aircraft. The war games completed a training course for servicemen of the anti-aircraft missile forces in defending our country’s air space.
The Ashuluk range is scheduled to be the home of an inter-branch training centre housing 6,000 troops, allowing simultaneous exercises by different Armed Force branches and services.
