VCV.ru is the first recruitment video interview service to appear in Russia. Its founder, Ekaterina Khripchenko, 28, tells RBTH how a young entrepreneur can become successful and if it is dangerous to do business in Russia.
The service greatly simplifies the interview process for both employers and job seekers. Applicants for a position record a video with their responses to questions prepared by employers and the most suitable candidates are invited to a “live” interview. Interestingly enough, candidates are not given time to prepare and memorize answers; the system works in such a way that the first question can only be seen after the recording process has been started.
