Moscow turning into a bike-friendly city, Saint Petersburg is pursuing

For the second year in succession, cyclists ousted motorists from the streets of central Moscow for a whole day on May 18.

Cyclists not only had a chance to ride freely through the historic center of the capital, but also to take part in a retro run & a bicycle fair, to compete in a pump-track event, to play bike polo on unicycles and even to win a bike. The velo-festival in Moscow gathered together cyclists from less bike-friendly Russian cities, including Saint Petersburg.
