Kurorty Severnogo Kavkaza OJSC is a joint stock company established in 2010 that deals with the special economic zones for tourism and recreation in the South of Russia. The SEZ project involves the construction of new ski, beach, and spa resorts.
The company is already working with U.S. and European partners. They are involved in the design of ski slopes and resort planning areas. On May 23, 2014 the company entered into an agreement with the French company Poma, a joint venture for the production of the ski lifts in the North Caucasus Federal District. RIR asked the Director General of the Russian company, Sergei Vereshchagin, about which investments are expected for the development of resorts.
