On the crossroads of history: A promenade 11 centuries long

History Street, is a retrospective of the most significant events from the Russian past. While strolling through the center of Moscow, you could find yourself carried away in the time.

You could see ancient Rus in the 10th-15th centuries and take a peek at old-fashioned wedding rituals, or see military drills from the Time of Troubles. Petrine Russia held lessons on how to load a cannon, while hussars gave lessons on the art of handling a sabre. In the 20th century, guests dressed in historic costumes, stood side by side with demonstrators in honor of Gagarin’s flight to space in the 1960s, and enjoyed the taste of a real Soviet Eskimo ice cream in the 1980s.
