French artists paint ‘Lenin’s Mausoleum’

The stars of European street art came to the Live Painting Moscow street art festival to paint buildings in the very heart of Moscow.

French artists turned the Museum of History of Moscow’s courtyard into an art workshop where spectators joined them in making several amazing works of art. Working in real-time, the artists turned models of Lenin’s Mausoleum and the Melnikov House, specially-made for the festival, into unique art objects. Visitors could both observe the creative process unfold as well as take part in creating a collective fresco under the supervision of professional artists.
