WWII through the lens of a war cameraman

Boris Sokolov, bearer of two orders and 31 medals, talked about life as a cameraman at the front.

Of the 258 Soviet war cameramen active during WWII, only two of them are still alive. And only one still lives in Russia: 95-year-old Boris Sokolov. He told RIR how he coped with fear and how he “shot” with a camera, not a gun.
