Russian servicemen took part in Beijing's Victory Parade

The military parade, marking the 70th anniversary of China’s victory in the War of Resistance against Japan and the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, was held in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square.

About 12,000 servicemen have taken part in the parade, including 11 infantry phalanxes, a mechanized convoy of 27 formations and ten echelons of aviation.

Three Russian servicemen, representing Russia's Land Forces, Air Force and Navy, were the last to march at the parade.
