Tank crews of the Southern Military District are preparing for the Tank Biathlon competition at a range in the Krasnodar Region.
Crews of T-90A overcome different obstacles engaging targets, which imitate helicopters and armoured vehicles of simulated enemy at a distance of 900-2200 m.
Drivers practice their skills on a cross-country terrain overcoming natural obstacles as well as anti-tank ditches and barriers.
The training involves about 100 servicemen and over 20 pieces of military hardware.
Tank Biathlon is a part of the International Army Games-2016, which also include “Suvorov onslaught”, “Masters of reconnaissance”, and “Masters of artillery fire” activities.
