Submarine rescue drills

The Russian Pacific fleet conducted search and rescue drill in the Sea of Japan.

The Russian Navy held search and rescue drills in the Peter the Great Gulf, the largest gulf of the Sea of Japan.

Igor Belousov rescue ship took part in the drills. Sailors successfully used «Bester-1″ manned deep submergence rescue vehicle (DSRV) and "Panther Plus" underwater rescue complex. 

Irtysh hospital ship, several other vessels and a group of divers were also involved.

An Il-38 airplane and a KA-27PS helicopter performed a search operation during the excercise.
