Russia's Honour Guard celebrates 60

The Honour Guard represents the Russian Armed Forces abroad.

The official Honour Guard regiment serves as one of the main units of the Russian Armed Forces. It was established on November 29, 1956. 

Since 1979 it has been included in the 154th Preobrazhensky Separate Commandant's Regiment of the Western Military District.

The Guard has been involved in various state and international events through the years. 

The units meet heads of foreign states and military departments, lay wreaths to the tombs of soldiers fallen for the freedom and independence of the Fatherland.

The Honour Guard represents the Russian Armed Forces abroad. It has held over 110 ceremonies since foundation.
