The MAKS-2015 International Aerospace Show opened on Tuesday August 25 in the town of Zhukovsky outside Moscow, and will run through August 30.
This year more than 110 Russian and foreign-made aircraft will be on display at the exhibition grounds, 81 of which, including jets from eight aerobatic groups, have applied to give demonstration flights. The visitors will be able to see such rarities as Russian Yak-9 and US Douglas. Among the state-of-the-art aircraft there are MiG - 35, T-50, Superjet 100 and Su-35.
