U.S. President Barack Obama's visit to Russia could be combined with his participation in a G20 summit in September, U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul said in reply to a question from Interfax.
Obama is planning to visit Russia and believes this will be an important meeting, McFaul said.
The ambassador said he recently returned from the United States and knows that the White House has not yet decided on the dates of either Obama's or National Security Advisor Thomas Donilon's visits to Russia, reaffirming that both are planning such trips.
