Date of meeting with Georgian prime minister's special envoy is being determined - Russian deputy foreign minister

The Russian Foreign Ministry has not named the date of the next meeting with Zurab Abashidze, a special envoy of the Georgian prime minister on relations with Russia, but says such a meeting is planned.

"It's our working issue. It's all on the agenda," Russian First Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Denisov told Interfax on Friday.

Denisov recalled that Russia is represented in the negotiations with Abashidze by Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.

"The previous meeting was timed to the Geneva consultations, which, as we know, take place on a regular basis," Denisov said.

As to the next meeting, Denisov said it may take place at some international event held in Europe or at "some special meeting."
