Emergency Situations Ministry plane brings Russians from Syria to Moscow

A plane of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has brought Russians who wished to leave Syria to Moscow.

The Ilyushin Il-62 jet landed at the Moscow Domodedovo Airport at 00:05 a.m. Moscow time on Wednesday, an Interfax correspondent reports from the site.

The plane had 99 passengers aboard, among them 29 women and 38 children.

The passengers are citizens of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Ministry rescuers, psychologists and doctors welcomed them at the airport.
