Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak had a meeting in Sochi on Monday on the construction schedule of Olympic facilities.
"Decisions on deadlines for all facilities have been reached. Some are slightly behind schedule, but there's nothing threatening," Kozak told reporters during a break in the meeting.
Kozak said that "the government has decided to provide investors - both state and private - with additional financial guarantees on fulfilling the obligations on schedule."
"We are sure that the decision made today will help us to complete preparations and construction of the Olympic infrastructure and to hold the Olympics on a high level," he said.
