One killed as high winds knock down bus stop shelter in Perm Territory

Gale-force winds knocked down a bus stop shelter in the town of Chaikovsky in Russia's Perm Territory on Thursday, killing one person and injuring another three.

"A 75-year-old retired man was fatally injured by the collapsed construction. A 10-year-old girl and two women, born in 1939 and 1942, were hospitalized with different injuries," a regional police spokesman said on Friday.

There were 15 or so people at the bus stop at the time of the accident.
