Prikhodko appointed acting government chief-of-staff

MOSCOW. May 9 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has appointed first deputy government chief of the staff Sergei Prikhodko acting government chief of staff, according to a directive published on the government website on May 9.

Prikhodko replaces Vladislav Surkov, who stepped down on May 8.
