Putin: Victory over Nazi Germany will remain in history forever

MOSCOW. May 9 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a speech at the Victory Parade on Red Square on Thursday that the greatness of the victory in the war against Nazi Germany will remain in history forever. "We will always remember that it was Russia, the Soviet Union, that thwarted the misanthropic, arrogant, and bloody plans and did not let the Nazis conquer the world," Putin said.

"We will do all we can to strengthen security on the planet," he said.
