A temporary accommodation center to house migrants prior to their deportation will be built in the Gatchinsky district of the Leningrad region.
An area in the industrial sector No. 2 of the Pudostyevsky settlement has been chosen for the place of construction, the district press office told Interfax.
"The construction will begin this year and will be completed by 2015," the press office said.
The Leningrad region administration is currently deciding how many people the new center will house, the press office said.
This is the first center like this in the Leningrad region, one facility operates in St. Petersburg's Krasnoselky district but its capacity of 176 people is not enough.
