Night buses to run to Sheremetyevo Airport

As of Sept. 1, getting to Sheremetyevo at night will be easier

The first four nighttime bus routes to Sheremetyevo will be launched on Sept. 1 in Moscow. Maxim Liksutov, head of the Transport and Road Infrastructure Department, explained that a bus will run regularly from Sheremetyevo Airport to Leninski Prospect in the southwest of Moscow.

There will also be an after-hours streetcar, running from the center to the southern outskirts of Moscow, as well as trolley buses running from the center of the city on the Garden Ring Road (Sadovoye Kol’tso) and from the northwest (VDNKh metro station) to the main sports arena Luzhniki, located in the southwest of the capital city. Night transport will run every 30 minutes.

It was previously reported that night buses, which mirror the metro lines, might also start serving airport passengers in Moscow.
