The Rosneft oil company is not holding and is not planning to hold negotiations on buying a stake in the fertilizer producer Uralkali, Rosneft President Igor Sechin told journalists on Saturday.
"We are interested in oil, gas, and petrochemistry. We are not interested in fertilizers. We are not holding negotiations either on buying [Uralkali major shareholder Suleyman] Kerimov's stake or any other stakes," he said.
"We are working in Belarus, this is a very appealing country, and everyone wants to work there - look how everybody was agitated when we stepped up our work. But this has no relation to Uralkali," Sechin said.
