Baltic Fleet ship to make unofficial visit to Ireland

The corvette Soobrazitelny has completed preparations for a voyage to Ireland most of which will be across the North Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The ship will leave for the voyage in a few days," a report of the press service says.

The preparation of the vessel for sailing in northern latitudes has been completed. The crew conducted several drills primarily to exercise actions in bad weather and stormy conditions. The stocks of fuel, water and food have been replenished.

The corvette will cross the Baltic and North Seas and the English Channel and enter the Atlantic Ocean heading for the coast of Ireland.

The unofficial visit of the corvette to port Cork will last from October 18 to 23.
