The Russian Migrants Federation has urged representatives of ethnic communities to remain on alert in the wake of disturbances in southern Moscow.
"Attacks are likely in different parts of Moscow. Nationalists are in a very aggressive mood," Russian Migrants Federation President Mukhammad Amin told Interfax on Sunday.
Migrants and foreign nationals "should stay away from public places," he said.
"I have just returned from Biryulyovo. The situation is very dangerous there. I could see hundreds of drunk young men and many nationalists," Amin said.
He said the Moscow police are taking effective measures to bring the situation back to normal.
Disturbances erupted in Moscow's Biryulyovo Zapadnoye residential area after a man was killed there.
