Five participants in nationalist action detained in northwest Moscow

Five people have been detained during a procession of nationalists that began at 1 p.m. from Oktyabrskoye Polye metro station.

Two people were detained after they refused to remove masks at the request of police officers, an Interfax correspondent reports. They were taken to a police vehicle. The officer said the detainees would be taken to Shchukino police station.

Later three more young people were taken to a police van.

By now the marchers have covered one third of the planned distance. A heavy rainfall continues in the area.
