Victims of Kazan air crash include Briton - Emergencies Ministry

The Emergency Situations' Ministry of Tatarstan has published an updated list of all 50 people killed in the Sunday air crash at Kazan airport.

There was a British citizen, Donna Carolina Bull, among the 44 passengers, the report says.

All six crewmembers lived in Kazan. The passengers were mainly residents of Tatarstan (Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk) but there were also residents of Kemerovo, Chelyabinsk, Volgograd and Ryazan regions and the republics of Udmurtia and Mari El on the airliner.

There were two children - girls aged 11 and 15 from Kazan - aboard.

Earlier reports said that the crash carried away the elder son of Tatar President Rustam Minnikhanov, 24-year-old Irek, and the head of the local department of the Federal Security Service (FSB) Alexander Antonov.

Monday has been declared a day of mourning in Tatarstan.

The Sunday evening crash of the Boeing 737 of Tatarstan Airlines carried away 44 passengers and six crewmembers.
