The Louis Vuitton company said in a press release that it was prepared to transfer its giant suitcase, which was expected to house an exhibition dedicated to Louis Vuitton's history, from Red Square to another location in Moscow.

According to the press release, which was seen by Interfax on Friday, the company, taking account of the mixed reaction that the installation has drawn in the past few days and sincerely trying not to offend Russians, decided to dismantle this pavilion, which was supposed to house its exhibition.

Louis Vuitton will open this exhibition in one of the multiple venues offered to the company as soon as possible, it said.

The situation concerning the exhibition pavilion will in no way impact the company's relations with Russia, the press release said.

Louis Vuitton will donate the proceeds from all ticket sales during the exhibition to the Naked Hearts Foundation, which the company has supported for many years, according to the press release.
