Russia, Israel sign agreements on nuclear industry, energy, agriculture

Russia and Israel signed a number of cooperation agreements upon the conclusion of a meeting between the co-chairmen of the combined Russian-Israeli commission on trade and economic cooperation: Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, an Interfax correspondent reported from the signing ceremony.

Russia's Rosatom and Israel's Atomic Energy Commission signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of radioactive substances.

Officials at the Russian Energy Ministry and Israeli Energy and Water Resources Ministry concluded a memorandum of understanding in energy.

In addition, a company from Chechnya, Lider R, and Israeli LR Group signed an agreement on construction of a dairy and commercial farm in Chechnya and a feed center to develop a dairy production cluster.

In addition, Russian export insurance agency EXIAR and the Israeli export insurance agency have signed an agreement on reciprocal commitments in the reinsurance area.
