Russia's Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov won pairs short program in figure skating in the 2014 Sochi Winter Games on Tuesday.
They set a new world record score, 84.17, which was 0.19 higher than the score they exhibited at the European Championship on January 17.
