International monitors from 23 countries have registered to work at the all-Crimean referendum, referendum committee head Mikhail Malyshev told reporters on March 14.
"Sixty nine monitors from 23 countries have confirmed their participation. The countries, from which monitors will arrive to us, include Russia, Latvia, Belgium, Israel, Poland, the United States, Moldova, the Czech Republic, Finland, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Mongolia, Cyprus, China and others," Malyshev said.
Some monitors have already arrived and the others are to come to Crimea on late March 14, Malyshev said. "Monitors will start working tomorrow. They will go to districts and visit villages and other settlements," he said.
