The Russia Today television station's broadcasts on YouTube have been restarted, said RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan.
"Our television station has been unblocked. We are waiting for explanations as to what it actually was. I'm not speaking about the money lost on advertising," Simonyan wrote on Twitter.
Simonyan earlier told Interfax that the channel had been blocked on YouTube. Meanwhile, the RT channel is one of the most popular channels on YouTube and has a record of more than a billion views.
Visitors who entered RT's account on YouTube earlier could read the notice: "This account has been blocked given numerous and serious violations of the YouTube rules, including deceit, spam circulation and demonstration of unwarrantable videos."
The editorial office of Dozhd television said the cellular communications operator Beeline has stopped broadcasting the television channel.
