Bank Rossiya has decided to operate exclusively on the Russian market and only in rubles, the bank said in a statement.
"In order to protect the bank's clients from the unscrupulous actions of foreign financial institutions, Bank Rossiya has made the decision to work exclusively on the Russian market and only with one currency - the national currency of the Russian Federation, the ruble," the bank said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will open an account with the Rossiya (Russia) bank, which has been put on the sanctions list amid the Crimean events.
