Federalization supporters take over building of Ukrainian Security Service in Donetsk - media reports

Supporters of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic have seized the building of the Ukrainian Security Service's department in the Donetsk region and the nearby building of the Ukrainian Security Service's investigations department, the Internet publication Ostrov has reported.

According to Ostrov, the unprotected buildings were quickly taken over by people, many of which were dressed in camouflage uniform and armed with baseball bats, clubs and armature. The windows were broken in the building.

Several thousands of people are taking part in the operation and more people continue coming, Ostrov reported.

The flag of the Donetsk People's Republic has been placed on the roof of the Ukrainian Security Service's department in the Donetsk region.
