Rallies, accorded with the authorities, are being held near the Novokuznetskaya and Tretyakovskaya metro stations and its participants urge support for the "Bolotnaya Square case prisoners."

Meanwhile, Moscow police are getting ready to terminate an unsanctioned rally at Bolotnaya Square. Security measures have been tightened there, many police officers are on duty their and police buses and trucks are parked there.

No unsanctioned rallies will be permitted at Bolotnaya Square on May 6, the Moscow authorities have said.

Opposition activists gathered at a rally on Tuesday to support suspects in the criminal case on mass disturbances at Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012. Opposition insisted that the rally should be held namely at Bolotnaya Square, while the authorities proposed Akademika Sakharova Avenue. No agreement was reached and opposition withdrew the request.
