Poroshenko leads election with 53.75 percent of vote - Central Elections Commission

According to information obtained after processing 70.08 percent of the electronic protocols, 53.75 percent have voted for parliamentarian Petro Poroshenko and 13.11 percent have voted for Batkivschyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko, Ukraine's Central Elections Commission reported on Monday.

They are followed by Oleh Lyashko, leader of the Radical Party, with 8.49 percent of the vote, Anatoliy Hrytsenko, leader of the party Civil Position (5.42 percent), and Serhiy Tihipko (5.29 percent of the vote).

Oleh Tyagnibok, leader of the All-Ukrainian association Svoboda and the Svoboda faction in the parliament, has received 1.16 percent of the vote, and Dmytro Yarosh, leader of the party Right Sector, has received 0.67 percent of the vote.
