Head of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic Valeriy Bolotov has ordered to suspend operations of the local TV channel IRTA over pro-Kyiv propaganda.
"Today I gave the order to suspend the operations of the IRTA TV channel, which belongs to local oligarch Volodymyr Landik, who currently lives in Kyiv," Bolotov said at a news conference on Friday.
"Amid military times, when people of the Luhansk People's Republic are at war with bandit formations of the Kyiv junta, the IRTA TV channel acts as a heavy means of Kyiv regime propaganda," Bolotov said.
"Staff of the TV company will be employed soon to the state media holding of our republic being created in accordance with professional qualities and competence," he said.
