Over 7,000 Ukrainian citizens enter Rostov region in past 24 hours

In the past 24 hours 7,335 Ukrainian citizens entered Russia's Rostov region and 326 Ukrainians, including 164 children, were accommodated, the Rostov region government press office said in a statement on Monday.

In the past 24 hours 7,335 Ukrainian citizens entered Russia's Rostov region and 326 Ukrainians, including 164 children, were accommodated, the Rostov region government press office said in a statement on Monday.

"Since mass withdrawal of residents of southeastern Ukraine to Russia began, 2,102 people, including 930 children, were accommodated in 15 municipal districts of the region. A total of 7,335 people arrived in the past 24 hours," the document said.

At the same time, families of the Rostov region have accommodated 1,070 people, including 431 children and 57 adults and a child are in temporary accommodation tents, the press office said.

It has been reported that in the past week at least 7,000 Ukrainian citizens cross the Russian-Ukrainian border daily.
