Russia ratifies agreement settling Cuban debt

The bill was passed by the State Duma on July 4, 2014, and approved by the Federation Council on July 9, 2014.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed into law the federal bill, "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Cuba, settling the debt of the Republic of Cuba to the Russian Federation for the loans granted during the period of the former USSR," the Kremlin press office said.

The bill was passed by the State Duma on July 4, 2014, and approved by the Federation Council on July 9, 2014.
