An agreement on settling the Iran nuclear problem to be reached between the P5+1 group of world powers and Tehran will have to be documented by the UN and envision the lifting of all sanctions from Iran, Mehdi Sanaei, the Iranian ambassador to Russia, said in an interview with Interfax.

"We believe that an agreement to be reached between P5+1 and Iran will have to be immediately formalized by the UN. Simultaneously with the implementation of P5+1's conditions, the unilateral sanctions and the UN sanctions will have to be immediately lifted," he said.

The diplomat insisted that all agreements on lifting the sanctions should be put into practice.

"It needs to be emphasized that all agreements must be implemented and there should be no new sanctions, and the previous sanctions must be lifted, as well as the blockade from Iran's monetary and financial institutions must be lifted," he said.

The P5+1 group includes China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States, as the permanent UN Security Council members, plus Germany.
