Crimean authorities are looking for a site to place gambling zones in association with gambling experts who worked in other countries, acting Crimean head Sergei Aksyonov said.

"Consultations with experts are being held. We want people who already have built gambling businesses in Macao and Los Vegas to participate [in creating the gambling zone]," Aksyonov told reporters in Simferopol on Wednesday.

According to Aksyonov, parameters of the Crimean gambling zone are drafted by four expert groups and gambling zone will not apply to the entire Crimean Peninsula.

"This will be a local site in Big Yalta district," Aksyonov said.

It has been reported Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on creating a gambling zone in Crimea and Kuban.
