Putin to open monument to World War I heroes in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the opening ceremony of the monument to World War I heroes at Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow on August 1, the Kremlin press office said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the opening ceremony of the monument to World War I heroes at Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow on August 1, the Kremlin press office said.

The ceremony will be one of the key events dedicated to the 100th anniversary since World War I began.
