Russia may ban U.S., EU company analysis of its hydrocarbon data - newspaper

The Russian Security Council's interdepartmental commission for environmental security has instructed relevant departments and security services to propose measures towards information security, which will prevent unauthorized exportation of primary geological information from the country, it said.

Representatives of relevant agencies, security services, Gazprom, Rosneft, Rosgeologia and Russian oil service structures attended the meeting, the newspaper said.
