Russian President Vladimir Putin insisted on Thursday that the state provide copper-bottomed security guarantees for investments in Russia.
"We must create conditions in Russia that would always give investors - any investors, both foreign and Russian - a clear signal that one doesn't get cheated in Russia," Putin said at a meeting with members of various political groups in the Russian State Duma.
A company that has invested in Russia must be "sure that no one will take its investments away from it, that state policy guarantees the security of those investments," he said.
