Over 300 foreign reporters are expected to arrive in Minsk to cover the summit talks on crisis settlement in Ukraine, scheduled for August 26.
"The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has accepted more than 300 applications for accreditation to cover talks between the Belarusian, Kazakh, Russian and Ukrainian presidents with European Union officials' participation in Minsk on August 26," Belarusian Foreign Ministry spokesman Dmitry Mironchik told Interfax on Sunday.
He said reporters from the United States, France, the Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and other countries are expected to arrive.
"Very many applications for accreditation have arrived from Japanese journalists," Mironchik said.
