Preliminary report: MH 17 breaks up in mid-air under multiple external impacts

The Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 Boeing 777-200 broke up in mid-air, probably because of the structural damage sustained from the impact of a large quantity of high-energy objects that hit the plane from the outside, the DBS report said on Tuesday.
