Rapid Trident-2014 exercises involving Ukraine and the United States will take place at the Yavorivskyi range in Ukraine's Lvov region on September 15-26.

Approximately 1,200 servicemen from 15 states, among them Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Canada, Georgia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain and the United States, as well as NATO officers will be engaged in the practice.

The United States will assign 200 servicemen of the 173rd infantry division stationed in Italy to join the exercises.

The Yavorivskyi military range (the Petro Sahaidachnyi Ground Forces Academy's International Peacekeeping and Security Center) will play host to the event.

Due to the forthcoming maneuvering of military convoys, civilian traffic will be limited in certain sections of motorways within the limits of the International Peacekeeping and Security Center.

Armor will be involved in the practice; the servicemen will have live fire exercises and military helicopters will perform flights.

Supervisors of the exercises have requested civilians in the Lviv region to temporarily abstain from visiting the range and to observe traffic regulations in the case they encounter military convoys on their way.
