Several former and current top managers of oil producer Bashneft may soon be interviewed by investigators as part of a criminal inquiry opened into illegal sales of Bashneft shares, a source familiar with the situation told Interfax.
“In the near future, the former and current chairmen of the board of directors, Alexander Goncharuk and Felix Yevtushenkov, the son of AFK Sistema head Vladimir Yevtushenkov, may be interrogated as part of the case into the illegal sale of Bashneft stock," he said.
Interfax has so far been unable to obtain official confirmation of the report.
Felix Yevtushenkov, who chairs the Bashneft board of directors, and the board's ex-chairman Alexander Goncharuk, who today holds the post of deputy chairman of the board of directors of AFK Sistema, are currently outside of Russia, sources familiar with the situation told Interfax.
