Russian Trade and Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev believes the general situation with Vladimir Yevtushenkov, the main shareholder of AFK Sistema, and the Friday story of his unconfirmed release from house arrest in particular are "not normal."
"I have always been against all kinds of conspiracy theories, but you can make a lot on this case," Ulyukayev said, commenting on the Friday reports on Yevtushenkov's release from under house arrest.
"There is no point guessing here, but this situation is not normal in any case," the minister said.
"I believe this story is not normal. This story, which is negatively impacting our investment climate, which is very bad as it is, is, of course, not normal," Ulyukayev said, commenting on the situation with Yevtushenkov.
