The Japanese Embassy has not confirmed reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Japan had allegedly been postponed.
"No decision has been made so far. The government of Japan is considering this issue. It is a fact," Minister-Counselor of the Japanese Embassy in Moscow Otsuki Kotaro told the Ekho Moskvy radio station.
The Russian president was expected to visit Japan this autumn, but no concrete dates for the trip had been named.
