Gazprom, CNPC sign document on trans-border section of Power of Siberia

The document determines the main parameters of the design, construction and operation of the trans-border section of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. In addition, the document contains the main technical and technological characteristics of the transmission of gas from the seller to the buyer.

The construction of Power of Siberia, which is meant to supply Russian gas to China via the Eastern Route, began on September 1. The pipeline is 3,968 kilometers long. It has a capacity of 38 billion cubic meters of gas a year with the possibility of increasing to 64 bcm a year.
